What can our company expect if we hire Alleira?


Prior to signing a contract, Alleira will first do a comprehensive need analysis and sales review to determine your current market position. From there we will craft a roadmap establishing both goals and milestones to success.

After the contract is signed, Alleira will implement the scope of work and service levels defined in our agreement. Depending on what specific service level you have contracted for, a custom feedback loop will be created in order to let you know what progress has been made and is being made to achieve our goals.

What does this cost?



Each company has different requirements so the cost may vary. However, all engagements are entered into on a shared risk basis. The fixed costs can be as low as what you may be paying for one of your own outside sales representatives who are not getting you the results you want. Your cost increases as a direct result of the results we achieve for you, the extent of your prospect list, the territory you want covered, and what services you want performed.

Will Alleira represent and market products that compete with mine?



In limited circumstances, Alleira will sign exclusives. However, even without a non-exclusive relationship, Alleira will not represent your competitor’s products to the same prospect list or to your accounts. Alleira focuses on products that we believe deliver exceptional value on either a cost and/or feature basis. However, there are instances where presenting competing products – particularly with new and emerging technologies – will help create validity and drive demand for the entire category.

How can Alleira save my company money?



Alleira reduces your fixed investment in sales and then participates economically in actual results. This is not different than the way most sales forces are compensated today. That is, your sales people today probably receive a fixed salary and a variable bonus or commission based on quota attainment or some other performance metric. Alleira takes that formula one step further. That is, sales performance is a higher component of your payout.

Additionally, since you are utilizing the network of Alleira contacts as an outsourced resource you are saving all of the additional hidden costs of payroll taxes, benefits, travel, recruitment, severance, etc.

Does Alleira take orders?



If it is in our client’s best interest, Alleira can accept orders on the client’s behalf. However, we believe that our core competency is in winning new business for our clients while leaving distribution and fulfillment to others.

Who is the PO made out to?



The client’s existing sales channel and the customer ultimately decide who the PO is made out to. Alleira drives sales to completion through your existing channels. A PO is never made out to Alleira. Alleira does not invoice customers. Alleira’s revenue is entirely fee based.

How is the Alleira offering different than other marketing companies, VARs, telemarketers, rep firms, consultants and other outsourced and third party sales companies?



Alleira’s service and business model is fundamentally different from any other solution available in the marketplace today.

Alleira engages targeted prospects on a named account basis to drive the sale of your product. Alleira has a national sales force tied into an extended network that creates a technology ecosystem. For a fixed monthly fee your company gets the benefit of multiple resources. As opposed to traditional outsourcing models that charge you a mark up or premium for a dedicated resource, Alleira utilizes a leverage model where you pay for a share the resource’s time. This serves to significantly reduce your cost. Additional fees are only charged based on results; Alleira only makes money when your product is sold.

VARs sell multiple products and have no special incentive to sell one manufacturer’s over another. In fact, most VARs historically have just taken orders for whatever the customer wants. The same can be true for what today is called the rapid response model: call centers fronted by web sites.

Consultants tell you how to do things that they don’t necessarily have the skills to do themselves. Alleira actually engages the customer and wins business for you.

Telemarketers call prospects with a script. They typically really understand little about the customer’s needs or the product they’re calling on behalf of. Alleira actually engages the customer face to face.

Outsourced sales companies charge you a premium for their people who they often recruit specifically for certain engagements. They charge more for their resources than they pay them, which is how they profit. Alleira utilizes a leverage model so that your fixed cost is often less than you would have to pay internally for similar resources. Additional fees are only charged based on results.
